These are photos from Alden, MI a little town in Northern, MI. The general store had just won "best ice cream in Northen, MI" There was a parade on Saturday complete with a band of kazoos, funny, huh!!!

Flowers were all over the place!!!

On Saturday the lake was covered up with boats. I was so envious, I wanted to go speeding across the lake in a boat. Maybe someday...

I am finally here in Chicago.

Dad and I drove up Thursday without incident.

Lots of corn between Nashville and Chicago.

I am excited to finally be here.

It is still an emotional roller coaster ride ...
